The Valley Trot

Kentmere Church - See it as part of The Valley Trot
The Trot is 5 miles, with optional tea and cake at the end!

From Staveley Mill Yard turn right along Back Lane and right again onto Kentmere valley road, past the weir to Scroggs Bridge.  Continue left along Brow Foot Lane (signed) to Brow Foot Farm.  Take the path right, down to the river then Ullthwaite bridge.  Turn left towards Croft Head, and approximately 100 yards after going through the gate at Croft Head turn right onto the public footpath marked “Kentmere Hall 1 ¾ miles”.

Tea and cake await at the end of The Valley Trot
Follow this path until you get to the factory, then bear slightly left towards the large footpath sign on the end of the building.  Keep to this clearly marked path between the factory buildings, then stay on the path which takes you to Kentmere Hall.  Bear right up to the church and the village hall (Checkpoint 4) where a warm welcome will await!

Transport will be provided for your return journey to Staveley.
